229 Parks

Driving out to Fairbanks I needed to eat. Weird, I know. I heard about a place in the middle of nowhere that allegedly had amazing food. Deanli has basically nothing as far as food goes, except for this place. Well, time to check it out.

229 Parks is a little cabin off the highway that serves local, fresh food. The Menu changes frequently and had all sorts of things. I wanted to try the rabbit, scallops, pork chops...basically...just wanted to have some of everything. As Always.

Well...

Got the tamales.

Tamales with mozzarella and fresh corn. Heirloom tomato salad with avacado and a papaya cilantro dressing. Yes, that is a flower on top of the salad. Most def ate it.

Wanna go back. Not worth the 4 hour drive...
